I am glad to share that I have earned two new Microsoft Applied Skills credentials, both completed on June 14, 2026.

This credential validates hands-on skills in deploying and managing AD DS: installing and configuring domain controllers, managing users, groups, and organizational units, and administering Group Policy in a hybrid identity environment.

Why these two together

Identity and Copilot security go hand in hand: Active Directory Domain Services underpins hybrid identity, and that same identity foundation is what determines what Microsoft 365 Copilot can and cannot surface to a given user. Strengthening both areas together supports a more coherent Zero Trust posture across on-premises and cloud.
